25-year-old NBA player Draymond Green –a Golden State Warriors point forward –will play later tonight in the NBA playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers!

According to ESPN, Green notched his 11th double-double this postseason and recorded 10 points (2-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, five steals, four blocks, and two assists in 43 minutes during the Game 2 overtime loss on Sunday.

Green was the the 35th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. That same year he signed a three-year, $2.6 million contract and debuted with the team that October.

During the 2013-2014 season he was the only Warrior to appear in all 82 of the team’s games (12 starts), averaging 6.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.24 steals and 0.88 blocks (all career highs) in 21.9 minutes.

Green has proven to be a top player for his team but is also a decent human being! Back when he was drafted, he stunned everybody by moving to a modest apartment, at the time the Michigan State graduate though it was too expensive to live in San Francisco and stated: “I’ve been pretty broke my entire life. I’m not going to live that same life, but I’m going to keep those same principles.”

Draymond’s parents separated and he uses his stepfather’s name, he has two brothers and three sisters, including brother Torrian –who played played basketball for Nebraska-Omaha.

Looks like all that Green –who identifies himself as a Christian –is missing is a nice girl by his side! Do you know if the 6 ft 7 in, 230 lb player is dating any special lady? We can’t quite answer that just yet, but stay tuned in for any updates!
