Ebony Fultz

Meet Ebony Fultz; she is the loving, proud and beautiful momma of basketball player Markelle Fultz. Her boy played one year with the Washington Huskies at the University of Washington, before he decided to enter the 2017 NBA Draft, where he was selected in the first round (1st overall) by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Mrs. Ebony Rae Fultz was born February 23, 1971, in Maryland. She graduated in 1988 from Crossland High School in Temple Hills, Maryland. She currently resides in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Ebony has been a government worker in D.C for over 20 years, she is a single mother to her two children Markelle (b. May 29, 1998), and daughter Shauntese, 27.

Ebony went to school with basketball coach Keith Williams, she asked him to coach Markelle, who was six at the time. He agreed to coach Markelle for $30 daily; at first, $30 wasn’t that much of a struggle.

When she couldn’t afford it anymore, she told Williams Markelle wouldn’t be able to attend to practice anymore; Williams knew Ebony’s son was a talented kid, with a rare drive, so for some time he coached Markelle for free.

Momma’s Boy

Markelle, proudly calls himself a momma’s boy, he has the best mom a son or daughter could ask for.

Last night, I was just riding the bus thinking about how I have the best mother in the whole entire world and how she would do anything to see me or my sister be successful in life. And I thought about the opportunity I have in front of me and how God has blessed not only me but my family. I realize that I have a chance to change our lives with something I love to do. Best believe one day you won’t have to worry about anything! I promise you that I’m going to work my ass off. This is for you, Mom.

Markelle Fultz’ & Girlfriend?

What about Markelle’s love life? Is he dating anyone? No, it seems Fultz doesn’t have a girlfriend.

Tinashe

Tinashe is no stranger to showbiz; she is, after all, a singer-songwriter, dancer, former model and actress, but most importantly to us is her latest status, NBA Wag, oh yes!! Tinashe is the new girlfriend of Ben Simmons, the 6’10” Australian point guard for the Philadelphia 67ers.

Prior to going pro, Simmons played college basketball at LSU; the 76ers selected him the first round (1st overall) in the 2016 NBA Draft.

But let’s check out some interesting facts about his new lady, Tinashe, whose name means We Are With God.

5’5″ Tinashe was born Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe in Lexington, Kentucky on February 6, 1993. She is the first-born child of three born to Michael and Eimie Kachingwe, both are college professors. and proud parents of Tinashe’s younger bros, Thulani & Kudzai.

Her beautiful Irish, Danish, Norwegian descent momma, teaches physical therapy at California State University, while dad Michael a  first-generation immigrant of the Shona people of Zimbabwe, teaches acting at California State Polytechnic University.

Tinashe attended Crescenta Valley High School as well as tap, ballet, and jazz from the time she was 4. She made her acting debut on the television series Cora Unashamed in 2000, two years later she had a small role in the film Masked and Anonymous. Tinashe has appeared on call Me Claus, Rocket Power, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Out of Jimmy’s Head, Two and a Half Men, Fashion Police and on the third season of Empire.

She started her music career in 2007, when she joined the girl group  The Stunners, they released their single Bubblegum in  2009, followed by  We Got It in 2010, they were the opening act for Justin Bieber’s My World Tour. The Stunners parted ways in 2011.

Tinashe started her solo career with her first original song Can’t Say No on November 25, 2011. Her first solo mixtape In Case We Die was released in February 2012; Aquarius her first album came out in 2014, Nightride in 2016 and third one Joyride in 2018.

Tinashe and Ben Simmons confirmed their relationship on March 8, 2018.

Mayme Greer

This lovely gal is Mrs. Mayme Greer; wife of former NBA player Hal Greer. 6’2″ Greer a native of Huntington, West Virginia played shooting guard for the  Philadelphia 76ers  from 1958 to 1973. Prior to the NBA, he played college basketball at Marshall University.

He was 81, when he died on April 16, 2018, the Philadelphia 76ers announced on Twitter.

Greer first attended Douglass High School in West Virginia, before heading to Marshall University in Huntington. The Sixers, formerly known as The Syracuse Nationals selected him in the second round, 13th overall in the 1958 NBA Draft.

According to records online, Hal and his wife Mayme Greer, 78, tied the knot in 1965. They had three children together; daughter Cherie Yvette, 45, Kelly Denise, 51, and son Harold E. Jr. 49.

Erin Popovich

67-year-old Erin Rose Conboy Popovich was the loving wife of the most decorated coach in Spurs history, The “Pop” as he is affectionately known to Spurs personnel and fans.

Erin and the Pop’s relationship goes way back into his college years. The couple was married for an outstanding 42 years, they tied the knot on October 10, 1976, in El Paso, Texas and have two children, Micky Charles, 40 and Jill Anne, 39.

Micky lives in Seattle, while Jill resides in Boulder, Colorado.

Mrs. Popovich born on January 5, 1951, was the daughter of Air Force Academy athletic trainer Jim Conboy; she graduated from Colorado State University. Her husband is as you all known highly decorated and successful coach, a bit “temperamental” which is no secret has tried to help her feisty man but the Serbian explains:

“I know. I’m a jerk. I’m going to go ahead and admit it publicly to the whole world.

‘That’s no excuse, you’re a grown man. Show some maturity. Wife Says.

Erin’s beloved father Jim Conboy who passed away in 1998, he was  an Air Force Academy Athletic Hall of Fame 2011 inductee; his outstanding career takes up back to 1970  when he graduated from Air Force; he also played basketball for four seasons with the Falcons; All-American swimmer who went on to make two Olympic teams in modern pentathlon.

Erin Popovich’s dad claimed the world title in modern pentathlon and won the gold in 1979. In 1973, made his comeback to the academy and worked six years as an assistant coach.

Full-time momma and wife Erin Popovich spend her time working with local charities such as the San Antonio Food Bank. Erin’s husband graduated in 1966 from Merrillville High School and in  1970, from the United States Air Force Academy has a long love affair with other than his wife!

Now, don’t get me wrong, besides his passion for the game the coach also loves wine! As the owner of the Oregon-based A to Z Wineworks and having a 12-foot-by-20-foot, 3,000-bottle above-ground wine cellar at his home; Erin declares:

“He spends a lot of time there when they loose”

On April 18, 2018, the Spurs announced the tragic death of Erin Popovich; according to ESPN, she had been battling with a long illness.

Spurs GM RC Buford on the passing of Erin Popovich: “We mourn the loss of Erin. She was a strong, wonderful, kind, intelligent woman who provided love, support and humor to all of us.”

Gwendolyn Osborne

This lovely gal is Gwendolyn Osborne; the amazing wife of retired basketball player Kenny Smith, who is at the moment a basketball analyst.

He also played college basketball at the University of North Carolina, prior to being drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the first round (6th overall) in the 1987 NBA Draft.

Gwendolyn now Gwendolyn Osborne Smith was born on August 7, 1978, in Bath, Somerset, England. She worked as a model on the Price is Right for over a decade. She appeared as a party girl on the 1999 film Any Given Sunday; in 2002 has another small role in Snow Dogs alongside Cuba Gooding Jr.

Gwendolyn played Jade Dominguez in the t.v. series Ocean Ave. and made a cameo on the t.v series Charmed in 2003. Starred as a waitress in Huff and as Monica on Eve. Returned to her Price is Right Girls for the 2011 film Jack and Jill.

Later in 2015 appeared on two episodes of the Bold and the Beautiful, most recently starred as Meg Anderson on the t.v series Beaty and the Baller.

Gwendolyn and Kenny met at a charity event in 2004; they tied the knot on September 2, 2006; they welcomed their son Malloy Adrian on March 26, 2008, and to daughter Olivia on September 29, 2012. Mrs. Osborne has one older daughter named Monique Green born in 1996, from a previous relationship, Monique is an actress. Kenny has two older children R&B singer Kayla Brianna, and University of North Carolina’s walk-on basketball player Kenneth Jr (K.J.), born from his first marriage to Dawn Reavis.

Morgan Lang

Morgan Lang is the lucky gal dating DeMarcus Cousins; her stud is the professional baller for the New Orleans Pelicans. That would make Morgan a sexy NBA wag and the subject of this post.

Morgan’s beau was born DeMarcus Amir Cousins on August 13, 1990. He began his career as a McDonald’s All-American out of LeFlore Magnet High School in Mobile, Alabama. He and his five siblings were raised by his mother, Monique.

DeMarcus was a first-team All-SEC during his one season at the University of Kentucky. After being picked 5th overall in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. In DeMarcus’ 2011-12 season, he averaged a “double-double” with 18.1 PPG and 11.0 RPG.

Cousins is also an Olympic champ, having won two gold medals as a member of the United States national team. The first one in 2014 at the FIBA Basketball World Cup and his second in 2016 at the Rio Olympics.

But not everything in life is about basketball. DeMarcus has been dating his lovely girlfriend for some time now, ready to meet Morgan Lang?

Morgan Lang attended Arizona State University. The gorgeous brunette appears to be some sort of model. It is not clear how she and DeMarcus met.

He is the father of two children, that would make Morgan –if they ever make it to the altar –a stepmom of two kids.

DeMarcus baby mama has been identified as Christy West. Mrs. West is also from Mobile, Alabama. As you may imagine they go from way back. It is believed they were high school or college sweethearts. However, not much is known about Christy.

We assume she is the mother of Cousins children but DeMarcus makes it hard by keeping his private life out of the spotlight.

Many sites identify Christy West as the mother of the couple’s adorable son, Amir. But DeMarcus is also the father of a daughter named Vana.

Despite being a famous name, Cousins has kept his family on a low profile. It wasn’t even known to media that he had a son. Amir Cousins wasn’t revealed to the world until he was five months old back in 2012.

DeMarcus and his new chick, Morgan have been dating for the last four years. The short and petite gal enjoys hanging out at the beach and constantly changes her look. Unfortunately not much more is known about her.

Cheryl Pistono

Cheryl Pistono is the ex-girlfriend and baby-mama of former NBA player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The former 7’2″ center born Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor Jr.; started his professional career with Milwaukee Bucks who drafted him in the first round (1st overall) in the 1969 NBA Draft. In 1975, joined the Los Angeles Laker where he played until his retirement in 1989.

Prior to entering the draft, he played college basketball at UCLA.

While a senior in college, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar met and started dating Janice Brown; Janice like him eventually changed her name to Habiba Abdul-Jabbar. They tied the knot on May 28, 1971. Together they had 3 children; Habiba, Sultana and one son, actor Abdul-Jabbar Jr. born on August 23, 1976; Habiba and Kareem split up in 1973, eventually divorced in 1978.

Kareem Jr. has starred in the 2004 Earthquake, The Loop, Monster Night, Half & Half and the Sarah Silverman Program.

Cheryl and Amir

After his divorce from Habiba, Kareem started dating Ms. Pistono. 61-year-old Cheryl Susan Pistono Jenkins was born on September 9, 1956. She is one of the children born to the later John J. Pistono a US Marine Corps veteran and his wife Sylvia Waclaw, proud parents of Cheryl’s sister Kay and brothers James, John, and Jeffrey.

All far as her relationship with the legendary basketball star, we know is that fresh off a divorce, the NBA’s record leader in points dated Cheryl in 1979, they initially met in 1977. The pair had a brief courtship that led to the birth of Jabbar’s second son, Amir, born on November 18, 1980

Amir was a third-year medical student in San Francisco, back in 2009 when he helped Kareem while he battled leukemia. Amir is nowadays an orthopedic surgeon in Los Angeles.

LaSalle, Illinois native Cheryl attended LaSalle-Peru High School, Beverly Hills High School, and UCLA; she moved in with Kareem in 1977, they broke up in 1984. She is now married to Steven Jenkins.

Kareem fathered a child with a woman in San Antonio, Texas; that boy is Adam Abdul-Jabbar, who appeared with Kareem and brother Amir on Celebrity Family Jeopardy in 2017.

Arike’s dad Gregory Yinka Ogunbowale, was born on May 8, 1966, in Nigeria. He served in the Nigerian Army before becoming the Principal at Milwaukee High School; Mr. Ogunbowale also played rugby and soccer.

Yolanda Ogunbowale born Yolanda R. Block on June 7, 1962; attended Harlem High School and was then a  pitcher at DePaul University in Chicago, where she was named Offensive MVP in 1984.

In addition to Arike Gregory and Yolanda Ogunbowale have two older sons; Mario,  a graduate of Washington High School and Strayer University, currently lives and works in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Dare born on May 4, 1994, played college football at Wisconsin; nowadays a running back for the Washington Redskins, he previously played with the Buccaneers and the Texans.

Have you met Laura Prunty? She is the stunning wife of NBA coach Joe Prunty. Her husband is the current interim head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks, following the firing of Jason Kidd after the beginning of the 2017-2018 season.

Joined Jason Kidd and the Brooklyn Nets in 2013, finally followed Kidd when he joined the Milwaukee Bucks in 2014.

Mrs. Prunty was born Laura Marie Green on June 28, 1978, in Bexar, Texas. She is one of the children born to Lorraine and Martin Green, also proud parents of her older brother Andrew.

Laura and Joe tied the knot in the summer of 2002; they have two beautiful children; Luke Joseph born in December 2009, and daughter Emma born in July 2012.

Meet Mrs. Amy Snyder; she is the loving and supportive wife of NBA coach, Quin Snyder. Her hubby is the current head coach of the Utah Jazz. Keep reading to know Amy Snyder’s biography.

Amy Snyder’s man was born Quin Price Snyder on October 30, 1966. The Mercer Island, WA, native earned undergraduate degrees in both philosophy and political science from Duke, later earning a Juris Doctor and M.B.A. from Duke as well.

Quin Snyder holds diverse coaching background that spans more than two decades in the NBA, Europe, the NBA Development League and college, including 10 years of experience as a head coach.

His first head coaching position came at the University of Missouri. Prior to being hired as head coach at Missouri, Snyder served as an associate head coach at Duke from 1993-99, and as an assistant with the 1992-93 Los Angeles Clippers.

From 2007-10, Snyder served as the first head coach of the San Antonio Spurs-owned/operated Austin Toros of the NBA Development League. He worked as assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2010-11 and with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2011-12. He was the associate head coach with CSKA Moscow (2012-13). Most recently completed his first season as the lead assistant coach for the Atlanta Hawks in 2013-14.

On June 7, 2014, Snyder was named the eighth head coach in Jazz history and the fifth since the franchise’s relocation to Utah in 1979.

Pretty Mrs. Snyder is the coach’s second wife.

Amy holds a B.S. in Behavioral Analysis from the University of Florida, M.A. in Special Education at the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. in Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders with an emphasis in Psychometrics at the University of Texas in Austin.

She was born Amy Broward Weisenburgh on April 13, 1976, to Mary and Louis Weisenburgh, who served in the U.S. Army. They have been married since 2010. Amy is the mother of the couple’s three small children. Amy Snyder first gave birth to daughter Anika, then in 2012 the couple welcomed son Wyatt and last but not least, they added another daughter, Madeleine in 2014.

Furthermore, Amy’s hubby is also the father of son, Owen –from his first marriage to Helen Redwine. The former couple tied the knot in 1999 and divorced in 2006.

With three small children, we understand Amy Snyder is not the typical social media hungry type wife. The wife and mom of three probably keep busy staying on top of her kids and watching her man from home.

Deja Lighty

Meet Deja Lighty; the stunning and lovely girlfriend of NBA player Donovan Mitchell, the 6’3″ shooting guard for the Utah Jazz. Mitchell was initially drafted in the first round (13th overall) by the Denver Nuggets, who subsequently traded him to Utah for Tyler Lydon the 24th pick.

Prior to entering the 20187 NBA Draft, Donovan played college basketball at the University of Louisville.

As previously said, Mitchell’s gal is Deja Lighty, 22, she was born on December 12, 1995, in New Jersey. She is one of the children born to Veronica and Chris Lighty, the hip-hop mugul, who passed away aged 44, on August 30, 2012.

Deja graduated in 2014, from Montclair Kimberley Academy; she studied sports management at Temple University, and where she was a cheerleader at. She has been dancing since she was a little girl. (check her in the video below).

While in college, Deja was a recruitment ambassador for the football team at Temple, around that same time, she was an intern at Roc Nation in 2017. She was the public relations manager for Temple University’s Love Your Melon, the Apparel brand run by college students that give hats to every child battling cancer.

In addition to all the things Ms. Lighty worked out in college, she managed to be a basketball recruiter for the Temple Men’s basketball team. Nowadays, Deja is an account executive for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Toriah Lachell

This pretty lady is Toriah Lachell, according to some sources, she is Jayson Tatum’s baby mama. Tatu, as you all know,w is the 6’8″ small forward with the Boston Celtics.

Now, Jayson is no longer together with Ms. Lachell, he is currently dating Samie Amos.

We would have wished there was more information about Toriah, here is the little we know about this fine young lady.

20-year-old Toriah Lachell (turning 21 this February) is also from Missouri, she grew up in St. Louis; she started dating Jayson while he attended Duke, as a matter of fact, they started dating in August 2014. It looks like he and Toriah remained together until the early months of 2017, but eventually went their separate ways.

Nevertheless, if rumors are true and Toriah had a baby, then they still have a special person that will bind them for life, and that is their little son, born on December 6, 2017. Ms. Lachell lives in Boston with her bundle of joy.

Her mom Julie Gibbs still lives in St Louis with her husband John.
