Amanda Clifton

Amanda Clifton is the girlfriend and fiancee of professional basketball player Elena Delle Donne. 6’5″ Delle Donne is a guard player with the Chicago Sky.

Prior to that she played with the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens of the University of Delaware of Newark, Delaware. Elena is a member of the USA Women’s Basketball Team that played at the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil.

Amanda’s WNBA gal was born September 5, 1989 in Wilmington, Delaware. She is one of the children born to Ernie and Joanie Delle Donne; also the proud parents of Elena’s brother Gene and Lizzie.

Gene Delle Donne was a quarterback player at Duke and then a tight end at Middle Tennessee. Her dear sister Lizzy was born autistic, blind, deaf and with cerebral palsy.

Elena’s career in basketball started during her time at Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, Delaware. She got a basketball scholarship from the University of Connecticut, but dropped out after two days.

Subsequently she enrolled at the University of Delaware where she first joined the Delaware Blue Hens’ Volleyball team and the basketball team in a season later.

Delle Donne was selected in the first round, second overall in the 2013 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. She made her international debut with the 2011 USA Basketball team for the World University Games in Shenzhen, China.

A back injury left her out of the team that played at the 2014 World Championship. Nevertheless she was in ready to rock mode for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil.

And now, regarding Elena Delle Donne’s personal life.. There has been a lot of speculation about her sexual orientation for years, no guy has been spotted by her side, no girl either.

And she [Elena] as the good friend she is was very supportive of teammate Brittney Griner when she came out.

An article  in ESPN regarding the pressure to marry Matthew Dellavedova was not even close to Elena’s other half.

Nothing was true, and indeed was a joke about what how her name would have been if they were married.

Howbeit, the search for her boyfriend or girlfriend intensified, but not for the people close to Elena, who has been aware of the identity of the person who holds Delle Donne’s heart.

Ms. Clifton is Director at Delle Donne Academy, she previously was a sales representative for the Lids Team Sports and before that she was a claim representative at State Farm Insurance.

Elena and Amanda became engaged on June 2, 2016. She confirmed their relationship and engaged during an interview for Vogue.

Ben Greve

Ben Greve is the loving husband of Lindsay Whalen, the WNBA player who is currently a point guard for the Minnesota Lynx . Prior to that she played college basketball with the Minnesota Golden Gophers at the University of Minnesota.

Ben’s wife was born May 9, 1982 in Hutchinson, Minnesota; the oldest of five children born to Neil and Kathy Whalen. She attended at Hutchinson High School and the University of Minnesota where she played at until she was selected in the first round (4th overall pick) in the 2004 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun.

Whalen played in Connecticut for six years. Subsequently was traded to the Minnesota Lynx on January 12, 2010.

Lindsay joined the USA Basketball Women’s National Team in the fall of 2009; she was a member of the team that represented the US at the 2010 FIBA World Championship and the 2012 Olympics in London and then again at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil.

Lindsay Whaley met her husband Ben Graves during their freshman year at the University of Minnesota where Ben was a member of the All- American Minnesota Gophers Golf Team.

Ben Greve was born in Annandale, Minnesota. His parents are David William Greve, 65, and Sandra Kay “Sandy” Greve, 60. Ben has two siblings, Timothy the athletic trainer for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Nick, an Eden Prairie based accountant.

Ben graduated in 2000 from Annandale High School and in 2005 from the University of Minnesota with a BS in marketing and communications.

While at UM, Greve played an important role during the 2006 NCAA National Championship when UM took the title, he played on the Canadian Golf Tour and the Hooters Tour.

In addition to that, Ben played Black Hall Club in Old Lyme. Conn during the time his wife played with the Suns.

In 2010, back in Minnesota Ben became an assistant golf professional at the Medina Golf and Country Club. He was a touring golf pro at Ben Greve Professional Golfer. As well as a Golf Stix Accounts Associate for 2nd Swing Golf on 2011.

From May 2012 to July, 2013, Greve was marketing coordinator for State Farm Insurance, in July, 2013 was insurance agent with Insurance Planners.

 Since August, 2014, Ben Greve has been working as an insurance advisor for the Twin City Group.

Penny Taylor

Penny Taylor is the girlfriend of WNBA player Diana Taurasi, member of the USA Women’s Basketball team and point guard player with the Phoenix Mercury. Prior to that Diana played college basketball at UCONN.

Penny Taylor’s gal, was born on June 11, 1982, in Glendale, California, one of two children born to Italian father Mari and Argentinean mother Liliana.

She grew up with her sister Jessika Taurasi in Chino, California. Taurasi graduated from Don Antonio Lugo High School. Won 3 consecutive NCAA titles at the University of Connecticut (UConn).

Taurasi was the first overall pick in the first round selected by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2004 WNBA Draft. In 2005, she joined the Russian basketball team Dynamo Moscow and Spartak Moscow.

Four years later joined Fenerbahçe Istanbul and Galatasaray Medical Park the following season.

In 2012, Diana joined UMMC Ekaterinburg and sent back to play for the Mercury for the 2016 WNBA season.

Taurasi’s girlfriend Penny Taylor was born Penelope Taylor on May 24, 1981 in Melbourne, Australia to Michael and Denna Christine Noble.

Penny was four when her parents enrolled her at Belgrave South Red Devils basketball club. She attended at Upwey High School in Upwey, Victoria.

Penny graduated from the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, where she got into with a basketball scholarship.

Penny started her professional career in Australia, she first played with the Dandenong Rangers in 1998. She was selected in the first round (11th overall) by the Cleveland Rockers in the 2001 WNBA Draft.

The following year played with the Termocarispe La Spezia and joined Famila Schio in 2003.

She was the first overall pick by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2004 WNBA dispersal draft. Mercury defeated the Detroit Shock and the 2007 WNBA champions and again in 2008 when they defeated the Indiana Fever 3.

An array of injuries left her out of the court, she joined the Fenerbahçe Istanbul in 2009 and came back to the Mercury Phoenix in 2013, the following year she played for the Dandenong Rangers and the Shanxi Flame in 2015.

She was back with the Phoenix Mercury for the 2015 WNBA Finals when they took another title after defeating the Chicago Sky. The end of the season had a bitter sweet end for Penny who after the loss of her father chose to sit out.

The Mercury Phoenix, announced they resigned Penny Taylor into their squad on February 8, 2016.

Her father’s passing was not the first personal loss that Penny went thru. Her mother Deanna died on February 5, 2013. For her obituary, Diana Taurasi was listed as her daughter-in-law.

Diana and Penny bought a 2,268 square feet house located on Manhattan Beach. CA in 2014; the three-bedroom three-bathroom property was purchased by Penny and Diana for $3,300,000.

Penny wasn’t gay at first. There was a time when she was into guys and even married one.

Oh, yeah! n December 29, 2005 she and Brazilian volleyball player Rodrigo Rodrigues Gil got married in Italy; the marriage ended a couple of years later.

Tia Santoro

Tia Santoro is the wife of former Knicks forward, Glen Rice. Her hubby is said to be ‘almost broke.’

This is probably not the life Tia Santoro expected as an NBA wag. Tia’s hubby officially retired in 2004 and new reports say he hasn’t been able to find a job.

In a new low point. Reports say the 49-year-old is struggling to make child support payments. He had to get a lawyer in order to get hi child support payments reduced.

Rice, a three-time All-Star is the father of a child he fathered with Robin Duncan of Fort Lauderdale. Miss Duncan sued Rice with a paternity suit back in 2010.

Rice is said to have burned through his basketball income. The only way he is able to get money this days is from appearances, memorabilia signings and camp instruction.

Rice was the fourth player drafted in 1989 from the University of Michigan after winning the NCAA Championship. Accoridng to his website, since retiring from the NBA, he has represented the NBA and their programs in countries such as China, South Africa and the Philippines.

He played with the Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Houston Rockets and lastly with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Prior to his NBA career, he became the all-time leading scorer at the University of Michigan, helping lead the Wolverines to an NCAA Championship in 1989.

Is hard to believe Rice, an NBA Champion, three time NBA All Star, 1997 All Star MVP, three point Contest Champion –could be facing money problems.

On the other hand, he has been luckier in the personal field. Rice was first married to Cristina Fernandez.

He tied the knot to lovely Tia Santoro earlier this year. Tia and Glen where in a years-long relationship before walking the isle.

Reports say the couple had a lavish ceremony in Miami. Tia Santoro is the mother of the couple’s two children, including daughter Bella.

However, the couple has faced their fare share of drama. Accoridng to page six, at one point Tia had to be escorted by police while she was moving out from their home.

And that wasn’t the end of it. In 2011 Rice had doubts of being the father of Bella, and filed for a paternity test.

Michelle Rhee

Michelle Rhee is the wife of former NBA star turned Sacramento Mayor, Kevin Johnson. Her 50-year-old hubby, was assaulted right in front of about 200 people at a charity event on Wednesday.

Reports say Johnson allegedly got into a fight with a protester after getting a pie thrown in his face! According to one witness, Johnson beat the man to a “bloody pulp.”

You might remember Michelle’s hubby from his time with the Phoenix Suns. Johnson who was born March 4, 1966 in Sacramento, California –was drafted with the seventh pick in the 1987 NBA draft by the Cavaliers.

During his 12-year playing career, Johnson was a three times NBA All-Star and four-time second team All-NBA selection, along with holding numerous records for the Phoenix Suns organization.

He became the mayor of Sacramento in 2008 and was reelected in 2012. The former point guard has a B.A. in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley.

Johnson is married to an equally bright woman, Michelle Rhee.

Born to South Korean parents, Karen has worked tirelessly to ‘build educational environments that truly foster learning.’ 

Michelle Rhee was born December 25, 1969. She was born in Michigan but was raised in Toledo, Ohio.

She graduated from the private Maumee Valley Country Day School in 1988. She holds a B.A. in government from Cornell University. She later earned a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Rhee signed up with Teach For America, went through their five-week summer training program. She then worked for three years as a teacher in Baltimore, Maryland at Harlem Park Elementary School.

Inspired by that Baltimore classroom she became the founder of The New Teacher Project in 1997.

In 2007 she went on to become Chancellor of D.C. public schools. Rhee contended that under her chancellorship, student achievement in the D.C. Public Schools greatly improved. She resigned in 2010.

In late 2010, she founded StudentsFirst, a non-profit organization that works on education reform.

As for her personal life, Michelle has been married two times. She is the mother of two children with first husband, Kevin Huffman.

She and Kevin Johnson tied the knot in 2011.

Julie Landrum Pierce

Julie Landrum Pierce aka Julie Pierce, this pretty NBA Wag is the gorgeous wife of Paul Pierce, the small forward NBA player who played with the Celtics, the Nets, the Washington Wizards and ultimately with the Clippers until his retirement.

Prior to becoming a NBA star, Pierce played college basketball at Inglewood High School and the University of Kansas. He was the 10th overall pick selected by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 1998 NBA Draft. Chris Rodstrom! What a classy lady! She has been married to current team president of the Miami Heat since 1970! Let’s see what else can we find out about her! Having been married for 43 years to accomplished professional NBA coach gives us an idea of the ride the two of them have had!

The two discovered their mutual passion in 1968, when they were introduced on a San Diego beach. Chris Rodstrom, the Maryland-born daughter of a Navy captain and Navy nurse, was then a junior majoring in psychology at San Diego State but dropped out of college to be the dutiful player’s wife.

This lady definitely means business no wonder they have lasted this long! Bored of her “cookie queen” life as just Mrs. Pat Riley she decided it was time to completed her BA studies in 1972 and went on to earn her master’s degree in educational psychology at Cal State Northridge three years later!

Chris Rodstrom Riley.-

Pat’s 66-year-old wife, Chris, a former family therapist, gave up her career in 1981 to play Pat’s personal assist leader. They make quite the dynamic duo! Chris’s hubby is the first to admit he has a long list of accomplishments to be proud of; as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers guided his team into the playoffs for six straight years. His lifetime winning percentages in both the regular season and the playoffs are tops in the history of the National Basketball Association. But surely he had the love and support of his blond, blue aye wife.

When working together Chris used to have her perch located across the Forum from the Laker bench, so she could take in the action on the floor and keep an eye on her husband at the same time.

“If I didn’t love basketball it would be tough,” “But I’m lucky enough to love it.”

But the love and passion for the sport is not all they share; Chris and hubby also have a special bond! These two souls are huge fans of Bruce Springsteen! But getting back to the sport Chris was definitely her husband’s rock when in the middle of the 70’s he was going through a rough patch after having ended his playing career. He recalls:

She helped me tremendously,”  “She treated the whole thing as a death, which is what it seemed like. It was a period of mourning. Basketball was my whole life.”

The couple have two children, James Riley and Elisabeth Riley. After a pretty rocky building years; Pat, 68 and his lovely wife are often photographed in social events together such as the Kentucky Derby; he Haute Living Hublot; the AFI Life Achievement Awards and of course NBA games.

Sherrice Douglas

Sherrice Douglas is the NBA Wag and the pretty wife of Toney Douglas, the NBA point guard with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also played with the New Orleans Pelicans, the Rockets, Knicks, Warriors, Sacramento Kings and the Miami Heat.

Prior to his NBA career, Douglas played college basketball at Auburn and Florida State University.

Sherrice’s talented husband was born in Tampa, Florida on March 16, 1986. He is one of the children born to Stephanie and Harry Douglas, also proud parents of Toney’s older brother Harry who is a wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans.

From Florida to Georgia

The Douglas moved to Jonesboro, Georgia when Toney was still a little boy. He attended at Jonesboro High School and then to Auburn before transferring to Florida State in 2005.

Toney was drafted with the 29th overall pick in the first round of the 2009 NBA Drtaft by the Los Angeles Lakers, who sold his rights in exchange for a second-round draft pick in 2011 and $3 million in cash considerations to the New York Knicks.

After three seasons with the Knicks he was traded to the Houston Rockets on July 11, 2012, after a successful stint with Houston he was traded to the Scramento Kings in February, 2013, four months after that he signed a deal with the Golden State Warriors.

The following year, Douglas joined the Miami Heat and a year after that he joined China’s basketball team the Jiangsu Dragons.

He played in 35 games with the Dragons averaging 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game. By February, 2015 he was back in the US, the Pelicans were the team he signed a new contract with. Between the 2015-2016 season he was signed and waived by the Pacers, the Nuggets and twice by the Pelicans.

The Cleveland Cavaliers came to his rescue on October 3rd, 2016.

Sadly, there isn’t much info out there about her, so far we know that Mrs. Douglas was born Sherrice LaDonna Bryson on October 24, 1984. She met her husband in college.

Sherrice and Toney welcomed their adorable son Toney Jr. in May, 2012.

Lauren graduated from Arizona in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Communication; she also was voted a Tucson 12 Model in January, 2012 (Tucson’s Hottest and Smartest College Girls, with 3.0 GPA or higher).

In 2009, Oglensky was a volunteer for Adventures Cross Country in Belize and Costa Rica, where she helped protecting nesting sites of endangered turtles and participated in Great Barrier Reef Restoration Project; the following year, she was a Volunteer Employee at the Impact Thrift Stores.

From 2014 to 2016, she was a technical recruiter for Insight Global. At the present time, Lauren Oglensky is technical recruiter for Mondo.

Lindsay Faulk

Lindsay Faulk is the new woman in the life of former NBA baller, Gilbert Arenas.

Faulk must not be very happy with the news of her man is soon to be broke! Accoridng to reports, the baller –who just copped his last check from his $111 million NBA contract –told the family courts he needs to send his kids to public school because he cant afford private schools anymore.

Arenas was born January 6, 1982 in Tampa, Florida. He was raised in Los Angeles only by his father and was a standout basketball player at Ulysses S. Grant High School in Van Nuys, CA.

Gil was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the 30th overall pick. The high scoring NBA point guard is a 3-time All-Star with the Washington Wizards from 2005 to 2007.

He was also named the NBA’s Most Improved Player in 2003 during his final season with the Golden State Warriors.

After his run with the Wizards, which ended in 2010, he had brief stints with the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies before joining the Shanghai Sharks in the Chinese professional league in 2012.

Gilbert may have basically been kicked out the NBA, but thanks to that guaranteed contract he signed back in 2008, he was still being paid out his $111M contract over the last 8 years. However, his final check comes this month TMZ reports.

Gilbert who has four kids with ex- Laura Govan broke up with her last year, after over 10-years together. Their tumultuous relationship has been widely reported.

It appears they finally put an end to it when in 2015, Gilbert fathered a daughter with new woman, Lindsay Faulk.

Lindsay, who was previously married to retired NFL player Marshall Faulk, has three children with her ex-husband in addition to her daughter Gia with Arenas.

Lindsay Faulk, formerly Lindsay Stoudt married Marshall in 2006.

Marshall Faulk is a former NFL football player who is now a professional football analyst.  He was drafted in 1994 and retired in 2005.  Their marriage lasted for 8 years and they got divorced in 2014. Together they are the parents to Presley, Farrah and Brooklyn.

Lindsay apparently was also involved in a secret relationship with Derek Fisher, prior to dating Gilbert. Talking about complicated relationships!

Faulk happens to be an aesthetician by profession and had her own signature scent Black by Lindsay Faulk a few years back.

The blonde has appeared on Basketball Wives LA but that wasn’t her first reality TV taste. Lindsay Faulk also has appeared on the 2012 reality series Beverly Hills Nannies.

Aside form her high-profile marriage to Faulk, Lindsay keeps on surprising us. She is also an aspiring singer and was reportedly an artist on SRC Universal Motown.

The son of a pro Basketball player father, Dainis and a sports teacher and a former high level rower mother, build up his name by becoming one of the best shooters in the European game.

However Davis’s road hasn’t been an easy one, he suffered two knee injuries over the last few years. Last July a now recovered, Davis signed with the Spurs, making his debut with the team earlier this month.

Bertans has definitely had some tough days, luckily for him, Anna Sonka has been there.

Some sources say the couple got hitched earlier this year and even though we can’t confirmed whether its actually true or not, we can tell you some cool facts about the lovely gal.

Accoridng to social media info, the pretty Anna Sonka is originally from Riga, Latvia. She speaks English, Latvian and Russian.

According to her LinkedIn, Anna attended school in the US after graduating from high school in her hometown. She attended Cowley County Community College in Mulvane, Kansas. She was also a student at Newman University from where she graduated with a business degree in 2013.

Anna Sonka and her man not only share the same nationality, the couple also shares their passion for the sport. Anna is a former basketball player herself.

Before arriving to Newman she played the 2010-2011 season at the University of Toledo where she appeared in 12 games for a Rocket squad that won the 2011 WNIT Championship with a 76-68 win over USC.

According to profile, Anna Sonka played her first two years of collegiate basketball at Cowley County Community College, where she averaged 7.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, finishing second on the squad in three-pointers made (30).

Raelynn Taylor

Raelynn Taylor is the pretty girlfriend of Spurs player, Bryn Forbes. The 23-year-old recently made his debut for the team, will his pretty girlfriend be at tonight’s game to cheer him on?

Bryn was born to Brandon and Sue Forbes on July 23, 1993. Forbes was part of back-to-back championships at Sexton High in 2011 and ’12. His numbers for Cleveland State were strong over his first two seasons — 12.7 points and the Horizon League newcomer of the year as a freshman in 2012-13, then a second-team all-leaguer as a sophomore after scoring 15.6 points a game.

Forbes’ college career began at Cleveland State where he played his freshman and sophomore year, before finishing as an integral rotation player for Tom Izzo’s Spartans.

The former Michigan State guard went undrafted in June before catching on with the Spurs shortly after, days later he made the roster.

Forbes played in the Spurs Summer League team and later averaged 9.5 points while shooting 58.8% from 3-point range in six preseason games this month.

Raelynn Whitney Taylor is originally form Michigan. According to her LinkedIn, she is a student at Lansing Community College.

Realynn and Bryn have been together for at least four years. The couple met while attending Sexton high school together –where Bryn became a star, helping the school to a 26–2 record and a state championship.

While Bryn was on his freshman year at Cleveland State, Realynn became pregnant with the couple’s first child.

She gave birth to a baby whom they named Carter, in the summer of 2013.

Quinessa Caylao-Do

Quinessa Caylao-Do is the lovely girlfriend of NBA player Dejounte Murray. Her 20-year old beau was drafted by the Spurs earlier this year.

The 49th-ranked prospect in the class of 2015, Murray spent his lone season of college basketball at Washington playing both guard positions.

He finished with averages of 16.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 34 games before joining the 2016 NBA draft. The San Antonio Spurs selected him with the 29th pick in June.

Murray was inactive for Tuesday’s 129-100 win over the Warriors. But will he get some court action tonight? That’s not likely, however Dejounte will still be cheering on his team, and his girl will be cheering on him.

The would be, Quinessa Caylao-Do. Dejounte and Quinessa are high school sweethearts who met at Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Washington.

The young couple has a lot in common since they could both take on each other at the basketball court. That’s right Quinessa Caylao-Do is also a ball player currently on the women’s team at the University of Colorado.

According to her profile, Caylao-Do is an open option major at Colorado. She is interested in business communications.

Quinessa Caylao-Do, also known as “Q”, was born on Dec. 16, 1997 and is the daughter of Tien and Karen. She has two younger siblings, Ashtien and Bentley.

A standout guard during her prep career, Caylao-Do graduated from Bellevue High School and helped guide Bellevue to the Washington State 3A Championship during her senior year to ultimately claim the tittle.

The 5-foot-8 combo guard from Tacoma, Wash.,is definitely fierce on the court but looks like model when not playing hoops.

The pretty Colorado freshman, had the unique opportunity to accompany her boyfriend, to the NBA draft back in June. During an interview, she revealed the trip was very inspirational because she would like to play in the WNBA one day.

Definitely a big plus to have a boyfriend in the NBA to get some advice!

Tina Wiseman

Tina Wiseman is the longtime girlfriend of NBA player Chris “The Birdman” Andersen. Power forward NBA player known for his colorful tattoos, who raised to fami with the Miami Heat. Birdman joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in June, 2016, by doing so, he reunited with his once Heat teammate LeBron James.

Tina’s NBA stud had a tough childhood, his mother took off and his father tried to sell his artwork all over the world. He had the opportunity to pick between military school and a foster home.

“I’m thankful that I actually got the choice to pick one of the two, and I picked the children’s home.”

Tina’s boyfriend dropped out of Blinn College in Texas and looked at alcohol and drugs to solve his problems. Andersen had his first taste in the majors when he signed with the Denver Nuggets, which were struggling at the time. Then he was noticed in the NBA as a fan favorite and signed with the New Orleans Hornets.

Andersen was living a luxury  life but eventually got addicted to drugs and alcohol resulting of his many issues like losing his home and everything he possessed in Hurricane Katrina. But also that his then-fiancée Brandy Newman ended their engagement. He said:

“I always had control over my drinking. It’s just when it hit me all at once I was like What do I do? I was like I’ll find the answer at the bottom of a bottle, that one didn’t have the answer. Try a can, that can didn’t have the answer. Solve one problem 10 more come along.”

Tina’s sweetheart was going through such hard times, went to rehab and moved to Denver where he underwent weekly drug tests for two years. And now it seems his  life is changing for good, now that he’s found the love of his live Tina Wiseman and are starting a new chapter together.

Tina Wiseman was born in the U.S to Taiwanese parents, medis no longer refer to her Ms. Wiseman, but as Tina Andersen.

Laura Atkinson’s husband was born Kenneth Neil Atkinson on June 2, 1967 in Huntington, NY. Her man is a former standout collegiate player at the University of Richmond. Atkinson was an All-CAA First Team selection as a junior and senior (1989-90) and helped the Spiders to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 1988. He went on to play professionally in Italy, France, Germany and Spain from 1991-2004.

Prior to starting his NBA coaching career, Atkinson spent three years as director of player development/assistant coach for Paris Basket Racing Club in France (2004-06). He was also an assistant coach with the Ukraine national team at the European championships in 2011.

He spent the 2007-08 campaign serving as the director of player development for the Houston Rockets. He then joined the New York Knicks staff as an assistant, helping the team reach the playoffs his final two seasons.

In 2012 he joined the Atlanta Hawks coaching staff. This April it was announced that Atkinson would take the head coach job with the Brooklyn Nets.

Kenny Atkinson was named as the 21st head coach in Nets NBA history on April 17, 2016.

Gorgeous Laura Atkinson must be a saint. Her Brooklyn Nets hubby has coached all over the world, meaning the lovely gal has certainly had to put with all the craziness. On top of all, she is also a mom to the couple’s children.

Tywanna Patterson

Tywanna Patterson is the loving, supportive and proud mother of NBA player, Patrick Patterson. Her 27-year-old boy currently plays with the Toronto Raptors.

Tywanna Patterson and her husband, Buster Patterson Jr. welcomed son Patrick on March 14, 1989 in Washington, D.C. Her son played three years of college basketball at Kentucky from 2007 to 2010 –where he earned a communications degree.

The D.C. native began his career with the Houston Rockets in 2010. Tywannas’ son was traded to the Sacramento Kings in February, 2013 as part of a six-player deal. On December 9, 2013, the Kings traded Patterson to Toronto.

In 2014, her son re-signed with the Raptors, to a reported three-year, $18 million contract.

Growing up, Patrick Patterson was introduced to a wide array of activities and sports by his parents. He was a Cub Scout, honor roll student and finished second in his fifth-grade spelling bee. A natural athlete, Patterson played basketball and football in elementary school. He received his first basketball lesson at age five from his mother. Back in 1994, Tywanna yelled to her son “Pat, put your hands up! Defense!”

Patterson played basketball at the YMCA until he was 12 years old. He suited up for his eighth grade youth team and played well against All-Stars. His parents enrolled him in AAU basketbal. He earned McDonald’s All-American and Jordan Brand All-American honors.

Patterson was a key member of the the Huntington High dream team that took West Virginia by storm. His squad won three state championships from 2005 through 2007 –gaining plenty of exposure on the nationally-ranked team.

That’s when Tywanna Patterson figured her son was really good and could end up getting a college scholarship. Her son got 18 college offers.

When her son was traded to Toronto, the supportive mom showed her excitement saying: “Canada. Great. We’re going to Canada.”

Tywanna Patterson is a former employee from Huntington’s Social Security office. She took an early retirement from her job in 2014, so she could watch her son play.
Patrick is the couple’s only child. She said of him during an interview

I am always so proud of him. He’s our pride and joy.”

No doubt Tywanna Patterson is the main woman in the 6-foot-9 forward’s life, and a committed Toronto fan. Her son is apparently single and has said he does not want to get married until he is at leas 30. To what Tywanna replied: “I can wait on a daughter-in-law. I can wait on a grandchild. I’m not in a hurry.”

Suzanne Harris’s hubby was born Alvin Harris Gentry on November 5, 1954, in Shelby, North Carolina. The former basketball college player has a coaching career spanning for over three decades.

He played college basketball at Appalachian State from 1973 to 1977 and began his coaching career as an assistant for Baylor in 1980.

The NBA coach was hired to take over the New Orleans Pelicans in 2015. He had his first NBA head coaching job with the Miami Heat in 1994, then went on to coach the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns over the next twenty years.

As an assistant coach on the Golden State Warriors, he helped the team reach the NBA Finals in 2015.

Suzanne Harris was born in 1958. She is Alvin’s second wife. She met her hubby during his short stay in San Antonio. At the time, Suzanne Harris was in charge of corporate sales for the team.

The former corporate sales director tied the knot to Gentry in 2010. They have welcomed two children, sons: Matthew and Ryan.

The couple’s special day was featured in the 23rd edition of the Arizona Wedding Magazine. Mrs. Gentry had this to say about marriage

“We deeply love each other and are committed to making it work,”  “It takes two people willing to communicate and compromise for the good of the relationship. It requires respect, perseverance and forgiveness.”

Michelle McMillan

Michelle McMillan is the loving and supportive wife of NBA coach, Nate McMillan. Her 52-year-old husband is the current head coach for the Indiana Pacers. Keep reading to know Michelle McMillan’s biography.

Michelle McMillan’s husband was born Nathaniel McMillan on August 3, 1964. He is former NBA player turned coach. The Raleigh, N.C. native played at North Carolina State, before entering the NBA.

McMillan helped lead NC State to a first place tie in the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season in 1985, and the Elite Eight in both the 1985 and 1986 NCAA Championship Tournaments.

As a player, McMillan was originally selected by the Sonics out of North Carolina State with the 30th overall pick in the second round of the 1986 NBA Draft. Nate spent his entire professional playing career in Seattle.

In his 12 years with Seattle when the team qualified for the postseason 11 times, Nate appeared in more playoff games (98) than anyone in team history.

In 1999, McMillan received one of the highest honors a basketball player can obtain as the Sonics retired his jersey number 10 at halftime during a game against the Washington Wizards. He became just the fourth Sonics player in the history of the franchise to have his number retired.

McMillan was named the Sonics interim Head Coach on Nov. 27, 2000 after serving as assistant coach for the previous two seasons. As the 12th head coach in the franchise’s history, and the youngest in the NBA.

The Sonics removed the interim status from McMillan’s title on Jan. 5, 2001 and signed him to a four-year contract.

In McMillan’s first full NBA campaign as a head coach, he guided Seattle to a 45-37 regular-season record and the seventh seed in the 2002 Western Conference Playoffs.

Also in 2001, the National Junior College Men’s Basketball Coaches Association inducted McMillan into their Hall of Fame as a player.

In 2005, after 19 years of relationship with the Seattle organization, he left to become the head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers. This May he was named head coach for the Indiana Pacers.

Nate couldn’t have done it without the love and support from his lovely wife Michelle McMillan. Michelle played basketball at Hickory High School in North Carolina.

They have been married for 28-years.

A former accountant, 51-year-old Michelle McMillan and her husband raised two children, son Jamelle and daughter, Brittany Michelle. Michelle McMillan gave birth to son Jamelle on December 30, 1988. The 27-year-old played college basketball as a guard for the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Jamelle McMillan is a Player’s Development coach for NBA side New Orleans Pelicans.

On the other hand, being the wife of a player/coach definitely has its perks. Michelle McMillan has experienced it a couple of times, in the form of lavish gifts including a convertible Mercedes, and in 2003 it was a black Escalade.

Sherry Silvey

Sherry Silvey is the loving and supportive wife of NBA coach, Scott Brooks. Her 51-year-old hubby is the current head coach of the Washington Wizards. Keep reading to know Sherry Silvey’s biography.

Sherry Silvey’s husband was born Scott Williams Brooks on July 31, 1965. A native of Lathrop, Calif., Brooks played 10 seasons in the NBA, appearing in 680 regular season games with Philadelphia, Minnesota, Houston, Dallas, New York and Cleveland. He won an NBA Championship as a player with the Houston Rockets in 1994.

The former 5-11 guard began his NBA coaching career as an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets from 2003-2006. Brooks spent the 2006-2007 season working as an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings. The following season he joined the Thunder Organization.

Brooks led the Oklahoma City Thunder to the NBA Finals in 2012. Brooks was named the NBA’s Western Conference coach of the month in February of 2012 after guiding the Thunder to an NBA-best 12-3 mark.

He coached the Thunder from 2008 to 2015, then became head coach of the Washington Wizards in 2016.

Sherry Silvey and Scott Brooks tied the knot on January 27, 1993. The couple raised two children daughter Lexi and son, Chance Brooks. The his high school sweethearts tied the knot, believe it or not, at Pebble Beach. On the 18th hole.

Both Sherry Silvey and her husband attended East Union High School in Monterey, CA. The couple honeymooned in Europe and then Scott returned to the Houston Rockets for their 1993-94 championship season.

Laurel D’Antoni

Laurel D’Antoni is the gorgeous and loving wife of NBA coach, Mike D’Antoni. Her 65-year-old hubby is the current head coach of the Houston Rockets. Keep reading to know Laurel D’Antoni’s biography.

Laurel’s husband was born Michael Andrew D’Antoni on May 8, 1951. The Mullens, WV native played at Marshall University and graduated in 1973 as the school’s career assist leader (659; now second to Greg White’s 701) while also being named GTE Academic All-American that same year.

D’Antoni, who also spent four years in the NBA as a player with the Kansas City-Omaha Kings and San Antonio Spurs (3.3 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 1.9 apg, 130 games) and another 13 playing in Italy, made his NBA head coaching debut with the Denver Nuggets during the lockout shortened 1998-99 season.

As a player in Italy, D’Antoni was voted the Italian League’s all-time greatest point guard in 1990 following a career that saw him become Milan’s all-time leading scorer and lead the team to five Italian League titles, two Cups of Europe, two Cups of Italy, one Korac Cup and one Intercontinental Cup.

Following his final year with Benetton Treviso in 2001-02, D’Antoni came back to the NBA as an assistant coach with the Suns in 2002 and served in that capacity until assuming head coaching duties 21 games into the 2003-04 season.

He has also coached the NY Knicks, L.A. Lakers and the 76ers. He was named as the new head coach for the Houston Rockets, last June.

Mike also served as an analyst for NBA.com following the 1998-99 regular season and worked as a broadcast analyst for Team USA throughout the 2003 FIBA Americas Men’s Olympic Tournament in San Juan.

Fluent in English and Italian, D’Antoni has co-authored two books: Playmaker, with former Milan head coach Dan Peterson, and Vivendo Giacando, with Italian sportswriter Tullio Lauro.

56-year-old Laurel D’Antoni is definitely one classy woman. She is a former fashion model who was born Laurel Leibel.

According to the NY Post, Laurel lived the modeling life in Tokyo, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Manhattan. Over 30-years-ago Laurel was recruited from the state of Washington to Manhattan by the Ford modeling agency.

In 1984, Laurel was a runway model in Milan when she met D’Antoni, then a point guard for Milan. Laurel’s girlfriend, also a model, was dating ex-Sonic Wally Walker, who introduced her to his teammate D’Antoni.

At the time Mike asked her if she wanted to catch a game. Laurel swears she thought she would be headed to a YMCA to watch him play pickup, unaware Italy had pro basketball. Instead, it was an arena filled with 15,000 screaming fans. They were married in 1986.

They are the proud parents of only son, Michael Alexander.

Laurel retired from modeling in 1990 to do a sports segment for Italian TV. Nowadays, she’s ok with being just a wife, mother and her hubby’s number one fan.
